Consumers have more options than ever when it comes to media viewing devices. Branded tracks shifts in U.S. consumer’s media consumption as part of our quarterly Trend Tracker. Our Q4 2017 results reveal that while most media consumption is still done using television, media is becoming increasingly fragmented. Roughly 14 percent of viewing time is spent on laptops with an additional 12 percent of viewing time spent on mobile devices. Despite ease of portability, only 8 percent of viewing time is spent on tablets.
