Consumers have more options than ever when it comes to media viewing devices. Branded tracks shifts in U.S. consumer’s media consumption as part of our quarterly Trend Tracker. Our Q1 2018 results reveal that while most media consumption is still done using television, media is becoming increasingly fragmented. Roughly 13 percent of viewing time is spent on laptops with an additional 12 percent of viewing time spent on mobile devices. Despite the ease of portability, only 7 percent of viewing time is spent on tablets.
