The Digital Media & Retention Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing all media campaigns related to the Branded Surveys market research community. The role requires having a hands-on approach with activities associated with the planning and buying of all media via ad common platforms, direct publishers, affiliate groups, and programmatic. This includes completing RFPs, evaluating and using any necessary syndicated research to help build rationale for the recommended media strategies, and developing and overseeing the strategy through to implementation and analysis. This dual role also requires the development, management, and ongoing analysis of retention strategies.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the digital media landscape, and ensure media strategies are aligned to KPIs to drive optimal campaign performance
  • Execute both site direct and other paid media buys
  • Monitor campaign performance and own all programmatic optimizations
  • Cultivate an understanding of how all digital channels work together to deliver a holistic media plan, including paid search and social
  • Ensure high levels of campaign performance, client satisfaction, and retention are delivered, while working hand-in-hand with senior management.
  • Use data to drive plans: work with company analysts and plan to perform analysis and drive decisions on retention opportunities and retention program effectiveness
  • Build quarterly plans for delivering your targets
  • Maintain strong communication with peers and stake-holders to ensure that the impact of strategies, programs and improvements are in-line collectively.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in digital media planning and buying direct ads, paid platform and programmatic
  • Demonstrated experience with Adwords, Facebook Ads, direct publisher methods, and affiliate networks
  • Must have a true thirst to understand technology and strategy, while excelling in data quantifying
  • Experience in Demand Side Platform executions and knowledge of operations
  • Professional and advanced skills in Excel, Google Analytics
  • Expertise in using business analytics to drive decisions and identify opportunities for improvement, and to validate the success of key program changes/enhancements
  • Experience in Data Visualization tools such as Grow
  • Superb conceptual thinking and problem-solving at all levels, ability to formulate a plan and desire to drive that plan through to completion.
